This is for everyone – no prior experience needed. At the studio, we practise skills such as imagination, observation, and embracing mistakes,and uncertainty. What matters most is not the finished outcome, but the process. Like in a spa or gym- you choose how and what you want to do. We are here to help and encourage.
A variety of materials and tools are available for crafting, building, painting, sewing, making sketchbooks and more. Visitors can work on their own projects, take part in guided activities or contribute to collaborative works. Beautiful atelje Carlstedt offers space and opportunities for enjoying creating things together or to get lost in your own craft.

Erja Hirvi is a Helsinki-based textile and print designer and artist known for her bold, nature-inspired patterns. She has spent decades collaborating with major design brands like Marimekko, creating several iconic Finnish tekstile prints. Erja is also a DJ, rescuer of old houses and plant lover.

IIRIS SJÖBLAD
Iiris Sjöblad is a director, photographer, and cinematographer working in both artistic and commercial productions. Her visual work combines realistic human behavior with elements of fantasy and storytelling. She regularly collaborates with different brands and music artists to direct and shoot visual concepts.

Piia Keto is an illustrator and designer whose style builds on themes of nature and imagination. Her illustrations bring to life ceramics, clothing, and public space installations. Alongside her design work, she runs MUKIPAJA- workshops.

MILLA VAAHTERA
Milla Vaahtera is a designer and artist who creates unique sculptures, furniture, and lighting installations. Her work features mobile sculptures made of glass and brass, produced in cooperation with local master glassblowers. Her practice focuses on traditional craft techniques and promoting unique pieces over mass production.
